January

The kids and I go to Library time once a week, and they LOVE it! After a couple stories and songs they always have parachute time, which is every kids favorite. One week I happened to have my camera and took a couple pictures. The girls LOVE to go to the library to read books and check out DVD's.




In January Logan started eating baby food!! He LOVES to eat, but with those cheeks I'm sure you already guessed that!





Ryan turned 31 in January! Happy birthday babe! For Ryan's birthday he and his friend got to go SNOWBOARDING!!! It was supposed to be a surprise for both of them, but Ryan guessed. The night before we watched the kids while Coreina and Robert went out on a date. Since Ryan had figured out his present he got all his gear out and had a blast making sure it was ready. So of coarse the girls had to get in on the action! They look sooo cute!

The girls got into my $1 section (Target) laundry baskets (seriously one of the best buys EVER!) and had a gunny sack race. They thought of this all on their own and had a blast doing it. It was so cute and funny!

Ryan had a BLAST the next day. He and Robert were gone most of the day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. While they were gone Coreina and I hung out with all the kids. We went to the theatre and saw Horton Hears a Who. It was a cute movie, but unfortunately didn't hold my girls attentions. They have very short attention spans, and there were NO princesses. Shocking, a WHOLE movie and not ONE princess! Afterwards we went to McDonalds and hung out for a little bit.

This next sad picture was either from that day or another McDonald's trip, I don't remember. All I know is there were a few people in McD's that were ready to give me the Mother of the Year Award (HEAVY sarcasm there!).
It was FREEZING outside and I was toting this cute baby around.



Yes that would be one naked boy. Now that I think more about it I'm fairly sure this was the same day as the movie. Anyway. I'm sure I looked like one NEGLECTFUL mother on that COLD COLD January day! But I promise there was a reason. So, sweet handsome little Logan was sleeping away in his car seat and when he woke up I picked him up. He had EXPLODED all over himself, his clothes (all of them!), and his car seat. This was one major mess. That I got to clean up in a McDonalds bathroom. Gross. So I just let him hang out in his diaper for a little while. Then I remembered our coats and put Em's coat on him. She wasn't too happy about that, but oh well.

Cousins!

One of my favorite pictures of me growing up is a picture of Me, Julia (my sis), and my cousins Lalani, Kayla, and Kara. We are all in our feety pajamas standing next to each other. It's a really cute picture and I love it. Well, when we were in Texas we got a similar picture of the Wilson cousins! lol. it was REALLY hard to get them all looking at the camera!

Kaitlyn and Logan are pretty much the same through out, but I got a good laugh with Cooper and Emily's different poses in EVERY picture.

One of the evenings we had some old family friends come over (the English's). Their oldest was home and we, at least I, hadn't seen him in a long time. Their oldest boy Will was really cute and he and Em were so cute playing together.




EVERYONE had a blast holding Logan while we were home. Here are a few pictures of him sleeping on people, which of coarse is his favorite way to sleep.






My mom got a snuggi (sp?) for Christmas, which was HILARIOUS. (Essentially it's a blanket with sleeves) Ryan and I saw a infomercial for it before Christmas and couldn't stop laughing about it. But it actually was the perfect present for my mom. Anyway I snapped a pic of Jace trying it out. Seriously funny.



One of the days we hung out with Mindy at her new house. The girls were DYING to play outside, but it was really wet. I finally gave in and let them play outside, but Em came in SOAKING wet. So she got to borrow some clothes from a cousin. Her clothes were dry just before we left so I took thins picture when we were telling Em her clothes were dry.




Too funny. we all had a blast hanging out with Mind.

More Christmas trip

So for Christmas my parents got a WII and WII Fit. That is mostly what we did after Christmas! I took a ton of pictures. I think my favorite was watching everyone do the yoga. I got cool pictures of my Mom and Jace doing the tree.

I wasn’t great at many of the games, but I kick booty at the ski jump! My family were all laughing at me because apparently I have a “booty jump”. Oh well. Lol.

The weather outside was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Many a times we couldn’t find the girls and they had run outside to play on the tramp. This particular time Kaitlyn found some food and brought it out with her.




Unfortunately Kaitlyn caught on quick that Grammy’s house is MUCH bigger than ours and she wasn’t watched as closely. This resulted in LOTS of trouble. Aunt Tiara and Jessica gave the girls almost anything they wanted, so Kaitlyn took this to mean she could do anything she could think of. Grrrr. There was a broken mirror, a bookshelf full of baskets that were dumped out everywere, getting in to lots of things, taking others candy, among other things. Too much freedom does not go well with her! Poor Tiara got the worst of it I think. She is the youngest and when Kaitlyn and Emily are around it’s like she inherits two little sisters. Lol. Tiara’s only 3 or 4 years older than Kaitlyn.

One of the few down moments with Kaitlyn. –She rarely lets someone fall asleep with her so these are pretty special moments.



While we were there we got to go to a Butcher (that’s their last name, not occupation) party. They have one almost every year between Christmas and New Years. Well one of their daughters happens to have a drum set! Ryan is a drummer and this is pretty much the reason he agreed to go!




He had a crowd up there watching him pretty quickly! He didn’t play for long, but I love to listen, he’s really good!

My sister Julia has a little boy, Cooper that is 5 months older than Logan. Those boys are SOOO cute together!
