Here's the rest of April :)

One of my YW was in the play Alice, so on Friday night I took Kaitlyn and Emily to go see it.  It was so much fun!  I was pretty impressed with my rappin bunny of a Mia Maid!  She did awesome and the girls and I enjoyed watching her and having a girls night out.

On Saturday I FINALLY got to see Hunger Games!!!  It came out when Brayden was still a very newborn, so I decided to wait tell it came to town.  Luckily for me some of the other mom's hadn't seen it either and we had a girls night at the theater!  It was so fun!  I was almost late cause I had to nurse the baby before I left, but I LOVED the movie!  Can't wait to see it again!  Here's us getting ready to watch the movie.  The previews had already started so the pictures pretty dark.

Home

We made it home safe and sound!  It was not nearly enough time, but we had SO MUCH FUN!!!  I love, love, LOVE going to Texas!  I miss all the family time.  So glad we got to go!  The kids were ANGELS on the airplane, I'm so proud of them!  We flew into Chicago pretty late and then just crashed at our hotel.  We didn't even get up tell like 9 this morning.  That's unheard of!  My kids always get up at like 6 or on a late day 630 in the morning!  We took our time driving home, and now we're back.  Such a quick trip!

Mindy took this supper cute picture of Colin holding Brayden on Sunday (the 22nd).  He is going to be so great when his new little sister arrives!  He LOVED holding Brayden!  So sweet!  Cameron was so cute with him too.  I love getting together!  I wish these kiddos got to see us more often!

Sweet Shawn

Shawn did a couple of really sweet things during the reception.  The first was, since we were traveling on Emmy's birthday he had her stand on the stage and have everyone sing to her.  Then he and Jessica gave her a present!  How sweet, on their special day they thought to share it with Emmy.  She LOVED it and I'm sure will always remember it!

He also presented Jessica with a framed photo.  She didn't know it, but when Shawn asked her to marry him he had his sister Mindy take a picture!  So sweet! (and of coarse all the girls wanted to see!)

Dancing!!

So the couple asked us to get the dancing started.  I was happy to dance with Ryan, he was a little more hesitant since we were the only ones!  All the kids had no problems jumping in and dancing their hearts out!

The kids had a blast playing on the stage...tell Evan fell off!  I think he was getting pretty tired!  Anyway here are the girls with their cousin Austin.  Typical, Kaitlyn is very aware her picture is being taken and Emmy only sees the boy...

The reception

We had so much fun at the reception!  Shawn and Jessica had the reception the day after they got married.  GENIOUS!!  I wish we had done that!  Then we could have enjoyed it more, instead of being so worn out.  Haha.  Well I have TONS of pictures so I'm gonna break it up into a few posts :)

Can I just say, I LOVE weddings!!  Haha, I'm sure that's not a surprise to anyone :)

Jessica looked absolutely beautiful and they both are just so happy and in love!  I LOVE it!  So because Shawn (Ryan's brother) and Jace (my brother) are best friends, Shawn has spent a lot of time at my parents house and he truly is one of them and vise a versa.  So even though it was a Dalton wedding, all my family was invited too.  I LOVE that our families get a long sooo well.  It truly is wonderful and what I imagine heaven to be :)  It was wonderful to go to the temple and watch them be sealed for time and all eternity!  Another wonderful thing is it was the SAME room that Ryan and I got married in!  So you bet there was some mushy gooshy feelings sitting in there, happy for this couple and thinking of my own wedding!
