So Logan was walking around singing this song, it was ADORABLE!!  Of coarse when I got out the camera, he wouldn't do it anymore, but Ryan and the girls had fun singing it! (so I uploaded the videos backwards. #3 was the first one recorded and #1 was the last one. Haha, oh well!)

Weight loss

Brayden lost more weight. I was REALLY hoping he had gained. He started out at 8lbs 8oz and 11 days old he is now 7lbs 6oz. Doc gave me a list of things to do and a goal for friday. Now if only Brayden will copoerate. I'm praying he will! I dont want to know what happens if he looses again.~ via FB I was SOO excited when Brayden latched on right away after birth. It was this huge sigh of relief, oh yea, I won't have to struggle with nursing like last time... Well here we go again. Between the jaundice and my mastitis he's dropping weight and I'm stressed out! I was sooo hoping it'd go nice and smoothly like with Logan! On the up side, I have some seriously cute kids!

Braydens 1st bath

Rough couple of days...

So came home from the hospital feeling great! Then Ryan and Mom got sick on Sunday. Luckily the kids were troopers. But that took the rest of my reserves. Found out Brayden lost too much weight and have been trying to get him eating more along with sunning him to help with the jaundice. Luckily Mom recovered quickly and was able to help out again on Monday. Nursing became excruciating. I knew I needed to feed Brayden and get him eating more, but every time it got more and more painful. It got to the point of me avoiding nursing, which wasn't good given Brayden's weight loss. I had no idea what was wrong. So Thursday morning mom hands me Brayden cause he needs to eat and it becomes obvious I can't feed him. So she takes him and starts feeding him a bottle. Ryan just looks at me and I start bawling (hormones much?). Long story short, Ryan demands I go to the doctor. (Me: The doctor? Oh, yeah that would probably be a good idea...) and I get an appointment. After he gives me a blessing. So I go to the appointment and turns out I had mastitis. Nice. Luckily they gave me something called a nipple shield, that helped right away and then the antibiotics too. I was pretty upset to learn that Brayden was still not up to birth weight and anxious for his upcoming check up to talk with my doctor about it. We would not have made it though this week with out mom's help! So today they're off again to take Mom back to the airport. I'm feeling much better, but sad to see my mom go. It's never long enough! And the good/exciting news, Brayden lost his belly button this morning! Can't believe he's that old already! The girlies

I'm so lucky to have Ryan as my husband. He truly LOVES babies. He is so great with them and unless they're hungry he can calm them down better than me. Nothing warms my heart more than seeing my amazing husband holding one of our babies. I just LOVE it! This was either after work or during his lunch break, can't remember which.

MOM!!!

So Friday the 17th Ryan and the kids went to Madison to pick up Mom! I missed them while they were gone! EVERYONE was sooo happy to see mom! I'm so glad she was able to make it out to visit us. I've been very blessed to have my mom come after all 5 of my babies! I LOVE having her here. Some how we didn't get a single picture of her! I came home on Saturday the 18th. Here's us getting ready to leave.

Evan was VERY upset with me! He wouldn't come to me at all. Poor kid. He's into climbing right now, so he was climbing on a chair and fell down. He got up and was crying and started walking to me, then remembered he was mad at me and turned the other way. Bout broke my heart! Luckily he had Daddy to cuddle!

Baby Brayden is here! He was born at 8:06 am weighing 8lbs 8oz. Sure love this cutie!

Valentines Day

On Thursday Ryan got to go to kindergarten with Kaitlyn! They were having a bring a parent to school day. Ryan had a nice time, and Kaitlyn was THRILLED to have Daddy spend time at school with her. What a special treat. Here's a picture he took during their time together.



On Friday I went to 4K with Emmy for her valentines party! SO fun. I didn't think I'd be able to go, so it was nice to be there. Emmy was thrilled to have me there!

I had told Ryan we weren't doing anything for valentines this year, but on Monday night (I had had a rough evening!) he gave me a sweet card with a love note written in it and the Twilight 4 movie! So nice! And my neighbor and her CUTE boys came over for a valentine themed dinner, love these guys!



So last night I got a babysitter and we went on a date. On Valentines! That rarely happens, its usually the weekend before or after.




I was a little excited to get a date with my hubby so I did my hair! Haha. We went to dinner and a movie, I bought a Zoo, and we LOVED it. It was great. I'm glad we got to spend some time together before baby #5 gets here. Which MAY be soon...

Also I made some chocolate covered marshmallows for Kaitlyn and Emily's teachers. I let the kids have some after school and they thought that was pretty great. :)

Logan has school!!

Today was Logan's first day of school! I can't believe how big he looks. He was so excited to wear his backpack and go to school. Since it was his first day, I got a sitter for the other 2 and went with him. I think he would have been fine without me there, but I don't think I could have just dropped him off!

So Logan goes in for speech class twice a week (Wednesdays and Fridays) for 20 minutes. It makes it a little challenging as far as what to do with Emily, Evan, and myself for that short space of time, but it's worth it to take him and let him get the help he needs.

Today when his speech teacher was working with him she was using a big mirror. She'd have him look at her through the mirror making the sound they were working on and then watching himself do it back. She had little things to keep his attention too while they were working. He did a great job, but 20 minutes was definetly his max. He is 3 after all!

I now have a child in Kindergarten, 4K, and now speech! I think they know us at this elementary now :)

False Labor

So I have been having contractions since December. DECEMBER! Anytime they get to strong I have been making sure I lay down or rest and then they go away. Well I've past the danger zone and can now let things happen. Well Wednesday night I was having some strong contractions, then on the way home (driving in the worst fog I've ever seen!) they got worse and more consistent. Well, I got home and started stressing, I'm not ready to have this baby yet! I think he's coming. Lets just say I didn't get very much sleep. And the contractions continued. So around 3 in the morning I decided it was time to go to the hospital. I don't have very long labors and this one had been going on for a while.

So we woke up our friends, had Allison come over and went to the hospital. Well, no baby. I was having contractions for sure, but I wasn't in active labor. AND I was only a 2! A 2! Crazy! So with my tail between my legs we walked home and let poor Allison go sleep in her own bed. I don't even know what to think anymore. I guess each baby has to do it their own way! Haha. Oh well. So we'll see when this one decides to join us!




P.S. I learned stress causes contractions... probably why they were so much stronger last night.
