Lancaster WI

On Wednesday morning we left for Lancaster Wisconsin. It's a 4 hour drive from here. Well actually we went to Platteville, which is 15 min. from Lancaster. The girls were so good on the drive up. BUT, there's always a butt right? the AC on my car was acting up. Only every once in a great while would it work. And it was H O T on Wednesday. I felt so bad for poor Emily. She's still so young and has a hard time regulating her body temp anyway. So we switched back and forth from windows down and trying to make the AC work. By the time we got to Platteville we were all dying of heat. So we go to check in to our hotel that Ryan had reserved on line a while ago. Well, Ryan went in with Kaitlyn while I fed Em in the car. They were gone a lot longer than I expected so Em's and I came in to see what was going on. Well, our reservation had been cancelled. After a while they figured out what had happened. Our reservations had been for 5 days earlier and when we didn't come they canceled the room. We're still not sure how the reservations got put on that day, oh well. So we went up to our room for a few min before we had to be at our first appointment (to look at an apartment). We got up there and it was burning hot, so we turned on the wall AC unit, and guess what, it didn't work. By this time I've already striped Emily down to her diaper because I'm seriously worried about how hot she feels, and Kaitlyn and I strip down to just our pants too. (Sorry if any boys are reading this) So it's time to go and we get dressed, except for Emily. I was seriously worried about her, and we head to our first appointment. We left the AC on in the hotel, hoping that by the time we got back it would cool down in there. The first apartment we checked out was seriously cool. I loved it. Everything was perfect except, no washer dryer hookups, which is a big deal with a family of 4. I was really bummed becase I really liked that place. Well while we were there Kaitlyn threw up on Ryan and herself, lovely I know. Well I had only brought one change of clothes for Kaitlyn, I know what was I thinking?- Oh yeah I was drugged the day before, I wasn't thinking much. So anyway she had to change outfits and was going to have to wear it for two days strait. We seriously thought about letting her go in just a diaper like Em, because it was still very hot in our room, but she's getting to old for that now. At least in public. We had a few hours between the next set of appointments so we hung out in the hotel. Emily was still burning up so we gave her a cold bath to cool her down. Boy, she did not like that. But it finally worked, she wasn't burning up anymore. Well we saw a few more places but they were terrible, a definite no way for all of them. Then we went to Lancaster to pick up some classifieds. Lancaster is so small that they have like 1 maybe 2 sets of apts. and they are all tiny, like efficiency and 1 bedroom size. We were hoping to find a house for rent there because we wanted to be close to Ryan's work. So back to Platteville for another appointment. This time it was a townhouse. I liked that is was at the end of a dead end street- no traffic. Well the guy was really late to show us the apartment, and apparently we were the last of a group. So there were 3 potential renters there waiting for him. Us with our 2 kids, a mom with her adorable 2 yr old twin boys, and a couple. Well when he got there he showed us all the place at the same time. It was very crowded in there. Ryan liked this place, but I wasn't very impressed. It wasn't bad, I just didn't like it. Well I was in the kitchen and I opened the freezer to check it out and a ton of ice fell on the floor. So everyone came to see what the noise was and I said. There's an insane amount of ice in there. The renter guy thought that was the funniest thing he'd ever herd. He kept saying there's an insane amount of ice in there, like that was an odd choice of words. Lol, oh well. Ryan and I didn't think it was weird. Maybe it's a Texas phrase. I don't know. Well anyways we went back to the hotel (still really hot in there) for the night, hoping the next day would go better. I was getting nervous that we weren't going to find anything to live in. Well getting Kaitlyn to sleep in a hotel room is not an easy task and we were already worn out from the day and she had only had one nap. So I was worried it was going to be a horrible fight to put her to bed. Well we put her in her pack n play and just tried to ignore her. To my surprise she actually didn't scream. She just didn't go to sleep. Well this was Wednesday night which meant So You Think You Can Dance was on. I'm a HUGE fan of this show. Last year I cheered for Benji the whole way. (For those of you who don't know he won last year, and I love him) I don't normally go crazy over reality shows, I like them but I don't usually watch the whole season or vote. Well That's not true with this show. I watch every show and cheer on my favorites. Last year when Benji won I was SOOO excited, if we hadn't had friends over I would have been jumping up and down screaming. Even with visitors over I could barely contain myself. So last year Ryan knew Wednesday nights he can't watch anything else, we are watching my show. Same for this year. So to bad Kaitlyn, I love you but the TVs on. Besides she likes to go to sleep with white noise on, so this was her white noise. It was 2 hours long and I loved it. I just love dance. Plus I'm happy because this year they are being nice to the contestants that suck. I hate it when they are mean. Well half way threw the show I glance quickly over at Kaitlyn (hoping she doesn't see me look because then we have to start over again) and she is watching the show with us. This is crazy and exciting for 2 reasons. First, it is impossible to get her to watch a show. I would love it if she would sit down and watch TV every once in a while, but she has no attention span for TV or movies. And secondly, the most exciting part- she was dancing with the contestants! I had a hard time not looking after I saw that! It was adorable. Every time I looked over there she was dancing. I love my baby. I wish we had the video camera or even just the camera, it was so cute. So for the rest of the show she slowly danced herself to sleep. Even when she was laying down, adorable. Now I love the show even more. I didn't know it was possible. So anyway, sorry about raving about a TV show, but seriously it's really cool.
Thursday we saw 2 places in Platteville, and I set up an appointment for the only place available in Lancaster. Well the first place we went to was falling apart. I felt like I needed to hold on to Kaitlyn to make sure she was ok, and I'm not a germaphobe. But then, taduntada... we went to a great house! It had a wrap around porch that was enclosed, 2 living rooms, a basement, dinning room, and 3 bedrooms. Plus we'd have the whole thing to ourselves, no other renters. I was REALLY excited about this one. An actual house, and it was really cute. Very old, but cute. So we drove to Lancaster for our last appointment, which I thought would probably be a waste of time. It was supposed to have only 2 bedrooms, so it would be smaller, and I loved the house we had just seen. Well we got to Lancaster a little early and looked at the house. I thought, well this is really cute. It's right across the street from the Piggly Wiggly (grocery store) and 2 blocks from Ryan's work. That was an immediate plus. Well we went inside and Ryan and I just fell in love with this house! It was way better than the first one. There is an office, a work room, an actually dinning room with lament wood flooring, 2 living rooms, a cute kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a garage. Plus this house has been in this Lady's family for 4 generations, so it's an older house. It has the wood working all around the inside that is SO beautiful! There's a fire place and a beautiful china hutch that goes with the house, a built in book shelf that is gorgeous, and in the 2nd bedroom one whole wall is a closet. The closet is a few feet off the ground and underneath along the whole wall are drawers. Every room has great storage. Even the master bedroom has a walk in closet. Ryan and I wanted this house soo bad! This house was $100 less than the first AND rent includes the heating bill, which is crazy! Well the landlady said if your interested, and both Ryan and I at the same time said we are VERY interested, there's a guy who already really wants it-so if he doesn't want it you can have it. And we'd have to wait tell Saturday to find out. Man we were so bummed! So after that we visited Ryan's office and drove home. The whole way home I tried to convince myself that I didn't really want that house, but it didn't work. Well a couple of hours later the landlady called to tell us she changed her mind! We got the house! I'm so excited. It really helps to know that I'm going to like where we are staying. What a huge blessing. So that pretty much was Wednesday and Thursday. I'm just so glad that we know where we're moving to.

One Crazy Weekend!

I've had a crazy weekend and week! Here's how it went:

On Friday afternoon I started having some pains in my stomach and by evening they got really bad. So I called the doctor and talked to her and she said I might have acid reflux, but I ended up having to go to the hospital because it wasn't getting better, just worse. So we went to the ER and they gave me some medicine. It helped, but I was still having pains, so they did a cat scan on me. When they got the results they said I had swelling in my intestines so they wanted to keep me and I needed a colenoscopy to see what was wrong. Since it was a holiday weekend they said that I would probably have to wait tell Tuesday, but they weren't sure. This was at like 6 in the morning after being in the ER since 11 the night before. So they sent up stairs to wait for an indefinite amount of time and to be seen by some other doctors. Ryan had to go home to be with the girls, we had one of our friends come over, Joni and she had spent the night to watch our girls for us. So Ryan spent most of the day with the girls and I stayed in the hospital. Both of us didn't sleep at all the night I was in the ER, or the next day. Ryan had the girls and of coarse they didn't sleep at the same time, and I was in the hospital. Every time I would be almost asleep someone would come in to poke me again. I had 4 iv's put in (the first one was in for a few minutes then blew a vain, then the second one was in while I was in the ER. -They took it out because they were going to send me home then changed their minds- Then it took 2 tries again when I went to the 5th floor because they blew another vain. So I have 2 massive nasty bruises on one arm. It looks like Ryan's been beating me) and blood drawn at least 3-4 times. Plus I saw I think 3 different doctors and a ton of nurses. I had xrays a cat scan and eventually a colenoscopy. So I spent the whole day Saturday in the hospital. That evening they decided to let me go home, but I would have to come back on Tuesday for the colenoscopy. Well I hadn't eaten anything since Friday afternoon and in the hospital I couldn't even drink water. I only had this nasty drink I had to drink a cup every half hour 4 times before the cat scan and then on Sat. I had a nasty drink to clean out my colen. So the nurse came in to discharge me and told me I was on a clear liquid diet until Monday at midnight and then I was fasting until after the colenoscopy. I was so excited to be able to drink! I came home and had 2 full bowls of chicken broth. I was STARVING! Well luckily for me Sarah Hastings has had a colenoscopy before so she came over to talk to me about it. That really helped a lot.
Well Sunday morning I got up and was just ready to cry about every 2 minutes and my emotions were all over the place. So I called my mom and talked to her. The main reason I was so up set was because I couldn't eat, it was going to be 4 days I was supposed to not eat. Plus I was trying to nurse Emily. Obviously that wasn't going very well. I barely had enough for me. I felt like I was an anorexic or something, but I wasn't even loosing weight. Well my mom said to call the doctor, because I shouldn't have to go with out food for that long. There's no reason. Well guess what. She was right. I called the doctor and he was pretty upset. The nurse gave me the wrong instructions I was allowed to eat as soon as I was discharged! I wasn't supposed to start the clear liquid until Sunday at 4. Well I was SO excited and felt much better once I knew I could eat. So I had 5 hours that I could eat 3 of which I was in church. So I brought a bag full of food with me to church. Lol. I was putting honey on bread in relief society, but I didn't care. I could eat! Well Sunday went really well after that. I really enjoyed church. Kaitlyn turned 18 months that day so she had her first day of nursery! Yay!!! Oh, she LOVED it. After church when we came to pick her up she was so proud of herself. She was strutting down the hallway. And at home she was giggly all night. It was so cute!
Well Monday was Memorial Day. Our ward had a memorial day breakfast which was really nice. I thought, no big deal just eggs and pancakes, I won't miss eating too much. Wow, I was wrong. That food looked so good. They had eggs and pancakes and fresh fruit and all kinds of syrup that sounded sooo good. We stayed for a while socializing and eating, well I watched everyone eat. When we left we had to go pick up a prescription for the colonoscopy. I was supposed to start talking it at 5. Well I started to get worried that we wouldn't be able to fill it because it was a holiday. I was going to be so mad if I had sat through that whole breakfast not eating for nothing! We went to walmart, but they were closed so we went to the hospital pharmacy. When I saw that one was closed I wanted to cry. Luckily I didn't give up. I talked to the ER nurse and found out that 24 hour walgreens always have an open pharmacy. Thank you Walgreens! Ok so the thing about a colenoscopy, everyone I talked to who had had one said the worst part is the preparation. They were right. Starting at 5 on Monday night I had to drink a cup of this fluid every 10 min. There's a gallon you have to drink. That is A LOT to drink of anything. Plus it doesn't taste good. Luckily mine didn't taste as bad as everyone said it would. But still it was hard. Every time that timer went off I was like no, I don't want to. I felt like Dumbledore in Harry Potter 6. It took FOUR hours to drink that stuff. Plus what it does to you isn't the most exciting thing. It cleans out your colen- I'll just leave it at that. Well after the drink Ryan went to bed, but I stayed up to finish the chick flick I had rented to help me pass the time. When it was done Ryan was already asleep. Up until then I had been totally fine about the colenoscopy. I'm really good at denial. But I started to get nervous, so I had a hard time getting to sleep. I just wanted Ryan to cuddle me and make me feel all better, but he needed the sleep so I didn't wake him up. I probably should of. He would of helped me feel a lot better.
So Tuesday morning we dropped Kaitlyn off at Sara's and went back to the hospital. All morning I was nervous. Well at the hospital we had to wait for a while because they were backed up. I started to get even more nervous. Around nine (an hour later) they finally got to me. They took me in to the back and started my IV and telling me about the procedure. All the prep stuff. Well I got REALLY REALLY nervous, I think I was having a panic attack. The nurses kept asking me if I was ok. By the end there were 4 nurses in there. It took 2 of them to get the IV in me (3 small pokes, but luckily no blown veins this time). Well they were about to take me back but I asked if I could have a couple mins to calm down. I was seriously panicking by this time. Luckily I have the most wonderful husband in the world. I am so blessed that he is worthy to hold the priesthood. I asked him to give me a blessing and he did. I immediately felt calmer. So I went with the nurses to this very scary room with all sorts of machines (they said there were extra machines in there for other procedures) all by myself, Ryan couldn't come. But I was no longer scared. I felt very calm. What a wonderful father in heaven we have. I'm so glad he sent the comforter to be with me. It really helped. If I didn't have that, I don't know I wouldn't have been ok. Well the nurses were getting everything ready for the procedure, and then the nurse said she was putting in the medicine, had me roll over, and I don't remember a thing after that. I love medicine. They woke me up and brought me back in to Ryan. I really don't remember much of this. Ryan says I was really funny. I remember him laughing a lot and being confused because I didn't think I was being funny. Most of the rest of the day is a haze. I was out of it for a while. I know I went with Ryan to pick up Kaitlyn and I went inside, but I have no clue what I said. I called my mom and mother in law too, but I don't remember anything else. Well after I rested for a while we went to IHOP. Before the procedure I made Ryan promise we could go there afterwards once I could eat again. It was so yummy! I had stuffed french toast, so good. Oh yeah, I forgot. The colonoscopy went well, and I'm fine. No problems. Yay me. I think all the pain was from my either ulcer or acid reflex. The doctors gave me some medicine for that and I feel better. Only once or twice have I felt it since, and it was a lot less then before. So that was Tuesday.
On Wednesday we had already planed to go to Lancaster to find an apt. to live in we left Wednesday morning and got back Thursday afternoon. I'll finish that next time. I'm tired, it's late.

Pictures

Here is a cute picture of Grandma Dalton with her granddaughters:

This picture makes me laugh every time I see it. If you know Ryan and his dad you'll know why. Ryan always says to his dad, "Yes sir, Terry Dalton sir!" Well like father like daughter here Emily is saluting. Just like her dad.

Kaitlyn LOVES food and using utensils. Here's a picture of her digging in with 2 forks:

Kaitlyn's 1st princess party

So today 2 of my friends had a birthday party for their girls. It was so cute they invited everyone to come in princess dresses. I was so excited for this party so I got Kaitlyn and Emily in their most princessish dresses and I even put a necklace on Kaitlyn and a pretty clip in her hair. You can almost see it in this picture:

We got there a little late because Kaitlyn woke up from her nap and it was time to go. I still had to change both girls into dresses and change both diapers plus feed Kaitlyn. Well all went well except Kaitlyn refused to eat. -I know when does she EVER do that. So I thought no big deal I'll just bring some chicken nuggets with me. Well before we even got in the door she had already had a few throw herself on the floor fits. That wouldn't be such a big deal, I used to just ignore her, but now I'm carrying Emily too. Well we made it inside (Yay!) and all was well. The girls throwing the party did such a great job they had tons of cute little activities and balloons and even an art project. They also had made their own princess castle cake. It was a castle, like 3D not just a sheet cake. I wish I had a picture, it was so adorable. Oh also one just had a baby and the other just got back in town yesterday. Amazing. Well Kaitlyn LOVES balloons, so she refused to do any of the activities because she only wanted the balloons. Here's some pics.

The only problem, they were attached to chairs. So in her excitement to get them she got all tangled up and fell down more than once, a few times off the chair. When she's tired or hungry (in this case both) she is kinda like a drunk. All the sudden a little wobbly on her feet. So I was getting a little stressed, cause she wouldn't play with the other kids-and she kept getting hurt. Then they brought in the cake, and all she wanted was that. I was holding Emily trying to keep her away. The cakes were on a low table were she could reach and would have knocked them all down to the floor. So she threw a few fits on the floor again. This time I had to pick her up-while holding Emily and carry her out of the room. I don't know what I'm gonna do when there's more than 2! Well I have to say I've been really proud of myself. I have 2 now and I hadn't lost it once yet. Well I have to admit I was pretty upset, so we went to another room and I called Ryan. Luckily he was done studying and could come rescue me. While we waited I finally got Kaitlyn to eat and calm down, so when Ryan got there the only one crying was me. My poor husband. Well the rest of the party went well. Kaitlyn still refused to play with anyone, but they had had cake, so she sat at the table and ate cake the whole time. Oh well.
That was my afternoon but I have to say I had a great rest of the day. In the morning I went threw my closet and put up all the maternity clothes and figured out what fits now. I have all the rest ready to put in boxes. Project 1 of packing to move, completed yay! Then this evening was a bar-b-que at a friends house and that was nice.
Well I've been waiting for emotional break down #1, and it's past now. So, hopefully that's it. But seeing as we're moving it probably won't be the last.

Girls Night Out

This weekend and this week have been so great- tons of stuff going on. Unfortunately my camera was out of batteries, so no pictures. Sorry.
So this weekend I got to go to a Girls Night Out. I had so much fun! A bunch of girls got together and we went to dinner at On the Border. All the food looked so good, but because I'm nursing, I couldn't eat ANY of it. I ended up with a salad and guacamole and chips. Ahh the things we do for our kids! Even though I couldn't eat I had a GREAT time. It was really funny because I was on the end seat so half way down the table and at the other end I could see people talking but couldn't hear. The music in the restaurant was really loud, so there was probably 4-5 conversations all at once. lol, oh well. Afterwards we went to a hotel that my friend Courtney got a great deal on. We played games and talked and some of the girls even spent the night. I stayed tell almost 1am before I went home. I had Emily with me, but she's pretty easy right now, so it was a nice break. I wish we could just hang out like that at least once a month. Well that was Friday night, so I got to go out with out Kaitlyn. Then on Saturday Ryan and I decided to get PS2 (play station 2) and the dance dance revolution game. -ok well Ryan mentioned it once and then I decided we were gonna get it and kept asking until we got it. I know I'm going to get pay back once my kids can talk. I don't take the answer no. Anyway, we got it so I can have a way to exercise at home. That night I was so excited about it so we invited the Larsons to come over and play too. Then on Sunday I finally got the Regans to come over for dinner. They are this really cute family that sits next to us in church. They have 2 boys (ages 8 and 6 I think) that absolutely adore Kaitlyn and a cute little girl that's probably 3. We always tease each other that Kaitlyn's gonna marry one of the Regan boys, I would love that they are so cute and nice. We have invited them a couple of times, but they are pretty busy and then they were sick for about a month. The boys were so cute at church the middle boy, Mitchel was feeding Kaitlyn cheerios and laughing at everything she did and then both the boys took a turn holding Emily. These boys are so ready for a baby! They keep askin their mom about it too. Well they came over for dinner and 2 of the guys from our ward that have their wife and kids out of town, so we had a full house. I LOVE that. I love to have people come over and hang out, especially if they have kids that love my kids. It was so cute the boys got to play the dance game. I'm impressed at how quickly kids pick up on how to play these games. They did a really good job. So Sunday was a really good day, I also got to listen to a lot of sacrament because Kaitlyn ran to Courtney and wanted to stay with them almost the whole time. I actually got to sit next to my husband and listen to the speakers. I don't remember the last time I got to do that. Then on Monday I went to my friend Erica's house to watch the season finally of The Bachelor. It was a lot of fun. I hadn't seen any of the other shows, but it was just fun to be with all the girls. We had a great time, plus I got out with out BOTH my girls that was amazing. Then on Tuesday it was Girls Night Out a group I'm in charge of for my church. We were going to play games at the church. I was almost positive no one was going to show up, but a couple of hours before I got 2 phone calls of people that were going to come and wanted to go with me, so I was excited about it. Also I was proud of myself because I got a lot accomplished yesterday and I got a few minutes to relax and enjoy the evening before I went out with the girls. We got there and their ended up being 7 of us and we had a great time. Also I went out with no babies- do I have an amazing husband or what! It gets even better. This morning I was REALLY tired- it's been a crazy week already, so Ryan took both girls for me. I got to sleep in until 8:30! It was so nice. Kaitlyn had just gone sown for morning nap, but Emily needed to eat, so after I fed her I had a few hours to myself. I even got a shower with out Kaitlyn poking her head in or Emily screaming. That was SO nice. My little sister called and I got to talk to her for a while before the girls needed me. So we got up and got everyone dressed and went to play group. After play group is nap time again, so I get free time twice today. I can't believe it. Well that is mostly what's going on now. I'm going to try to keep updated better, but we'll see. Life is crazy with 2 babies, but I'm getting better at it.

Ryan's graduation

This past weekend Ryan graduated from Drake Law School!! I'm so proud of him. I can't believe it has already been 3 years. Time flies. Because Ryan was graduating we had a ton of family here. On Thursday Mom Dalton was joined by Dad Dalton and Ryan's brother Shawn and sister Mindy with her little boy Austin. Also Ryan's grandmother and his aunt Debbi came. I was so excited that so much of his family came up. All the girls went shopping Friday in the afternoon. I love going shopping with the girls, we had a ball. Kaitlyn and Emily had fun, until it was Kaitlyn's nap time. Lol, in a few years I'll be the one begging to go home for a nap. Well after we got home from the mall we got ready for the graduation. Ryan's mom got me 2 beautiful dresses so I'd have something to wear. One was white and blue, Drakes colors, so I decided to wear that one. I also had white and blue dresses for the girls so we all match. I know I just can't help it, 2 girls-twice the fun. I love dressing them in matching colors. Anyway then my family got here. Mom and Dad Wilson, my brothers Andrew, Jace, and Kurtis, and my sisters Jessica and Tiara. Ryan and I both have sisters that are newly weds and couldn't come- Katrina and Julia- we missed you and love you! We did a small photo shoot before graduation because we weren't going to bring Kaitlyn, and Ryan had to return the cap and gown. Here's some of us just before we left:

Well honestly, I thought graduation was kinda boring. I felt like a little kid at church, I couldn't sit still. But there were 2 great parts; 1st ofcoarse seeing Ryan walk across the stage and 2nd being the president of Drake. I didn't enjoy his speech but when he stood up to talk I almost laughed out loud. He was wearing a medalion of some sort that looked like a rappers bling. Mindy was sitting next to me so I turned to her and said he's bling blingin. So we laughed and got a picture of it to show the boys. Mindy told Shwan he got up there and sang My chains hang low. We got a good laugh out of that. Here's a picture of it.

Well afterwards we got some closeups of the proud grad, here are some of my favorites:

Afterwards we all went out and celebrated at Cheddars. It was very fun and I'm so glad that everyone could be there to help us celbrate.

That was Friday, and on Saturday we blessed Emily, but I'll post that next time.

Monday, May 14, 2007

So A LOT has happened since I last posted. The first weekend in May Ryan took me the girls and grandma Dalton to Lancaster Wisconsin to show us around. I hadn't been there yet, and he wanted me to see what it was like. He called the law firm (Day and Rhineke) he's going to be working for and told them we were coming up and we wanted to stop by the office so I could meet everyone. Well Craig Day offered to have us over for dinner and have his wife show us around town. They are so sweet. It's really nice because they are excited to have Ryan and are taking good care of us. So anyway we drove up on Saturday and just looked around. It is SO beautiful there. I do have to say that I was a little apprehensive at first, you pass a small town drive for 15 min with nothing and then there's another small town. I keept thinking this is so beautiful, but I'm moving to the middle of nowhere! What am I going to do? Then we got to Lancaster and while it is still small it is bigger than the other towns we were passing and it's 15 min. from a town that's a even a little bigger, so that was nice to see. On Sunday morning we went to the branch we will be attending. It is a SMALL branch, but they are SO excited that we are coming. It was nice to be so needed. I think we'll probably have lots of callings there and be very involved. The only hard part is the few families with kids are all from Dodgeville witch is probably an hour from where we are going to be living. And I think there are only 1 or 2 people from Lancaster. So we will pretty much be the only ones there. Oh well, it'll be hard but a good experience. Sunday night was the dinner at the Day's. Eric Rhyneke and one of his kids came too, so I got to meet both of Ryan's bosses. The dinner was so nice, I really like Mrs. Day. She was really nice. On Monday Mrs. Day gave us a tour of town. My favorite part was she took us to the elementary school and the principal gave us a tour. I REALLY like the school and the programs they have set up. That was one of the things I needed was a good school district. They will do a great job with my girls, and I loved how excited the principal was about his job and how much they do for the kids. I can't wait to have my girls go there. I think it will be a great place to grow up. On the tour we also saw this really pretty park with a pond that everyone fishes in, and she showed us a lot of houses. I love that the houses are nicely priced! It's exciting to think that haveing a house is not far away. Well nice and a little scary. I'm glad Ryan knows a lot about house buying, because I don't. Well anyway, the trip was nice. I'm glad Ryan took me up there, and I'm excited about it now. I even found out that Plattville the town 15 min. away has a walmart, so we won't have to drive to Debuke IA (45min away) everytime to go shopping.
The following weekend was Ryan's graduation, Emily's baby blessing, and mothers day. It's getting late so I'll post about that later.
