Wilson Family Pictures

In October when we went home to see Andrew return from his mission, we got family pictures done. Dee Adams from my ward growing up did them and she did an AWESOME job! My kids were ornery and didn't want to get their pictures done, but she made it fun and got TONS of cute pictures!
There are like 900 or something pictures, so it has been REALLY hard to narrow it down to a few favorites! I had such a great time hanging out with my family. I wish we could do it more often, they really are TONS of fun!

Here are some random cute pics:
Tiara (7yr old and the youngest)

Jessica (will be 10 soon)

Kurtis (15)

Jace (19)

Julia (&Cody and Cooper)

Grand-kids

That's just a FEW! haha. There's still all the whole family shots too. I'll do that next post!

Logan has learned that he can climb out of his highchair and onto the table. He is very proud of this.

Since Log got a picture standing on the table, the girls needed one too.

And the ONLY picture I got of Christmas! I took the camera down to Texas with us, but it was FULL and I didn't bring the cord! Oh well! More on Christmas/Texas later.

Silliness

This is from the beginning of December. After the first time I let Kaitlyn vacuum, she kinda became obsessed with it! She would often pull it out of the closet and try to get me to let her vacuum. My only requirement was that she clean the room first. Unfortunately that only worked once or twice! Then she would just try to vacuum AROUND the toys on the floor!
Well one of these days she decided to vacuum under the couch cushions and I said YES! Great! They need it. Well it turned into a game. The kids had SOOO much fun! I just sat and watched them laughing and playing before I remembered to run and get the camera! These three are so adorable!

And if I'm lucky I'll figure out how to post the video!

Decorating

This year I was supper excited to get the decorations up! And a little nervous. This was the first year decorating our new home! The day after the day after Thanksgiving (Saturday) we put up all the decorations! I've never had them up so early, and I LOVED it! The kids of coarse got to help out and they had fun too (while I tried not to pull my hair out. Turns out I'm a little OCD about decorating the tree!)
When we pulled the decoration boxes out, the kids found an old Santa hat and their stockings!

The Christmas tree box was also a fun toy

Within the next couple of days the girls made a huge mess in there! (I don't remember what it was, prolly food!) Kaitlyn LOVED her punishment of cleaning it up herself, because she got to use a vacuum!!

Kaitlyn's 4!!!

The day after Thanksgiving Kaitlyn turned 4! She is such a big girl now, I just can't believe it. Turning 4 has been WONDERFUL!! 3 was rough on both Kaitlyn and I (and her Daddy!)
I had planed on doing a birthday party for her either on her birthday or the day after. Unfortunately the two weeks before her birthday she was ATROCIOUS!!! So she lost her birthday party. Last year she had 3 different birthday parties, so I think it's ok we skipped this year. We did celebrate her birthday as a family though.
She got to open presents from Grandma: (LOTS o pics here!)

Dancing 'cause she was so excited to open them!

Em with the coveted umbrella!

From mom and Dad she got a new dresser. I got this at a garage sale (it was just wood) and I sanded and painted it. I think she really likes it.

That night we took her out dinner and a movie. The whole drive down to Dubuque I talked up this COOL princess movie (Princess and a Frog) we were going to see. Then we get there and it's not out yet! I thought it came out for Thanksgiving, but it didn't come out for a couple more weeks. Luckily I was more bummed about it than Kaitlyn! We ended up watching Planet 51 and she enjoyed it!

The next night we had cake for her. We didn't have any candles so...

we improvised.

And a few days later she got ANOTHER package in the mail. This time from Grammy with MORE presents in it. I think she had a wonderful birthday. We sure love our Kaitlyn and are glad to have her with us!
