Reasons to celebrate!

In January Ryan had his birthday!! We all love him so much! Happy Birthday babe!

In February we had a Valentines party at our house! It was so much fun! We invited all the kids and their moms from playgroup and a few friends from church. I was worried no one would come, but LOTS of friends came! It was so much fun. We even had some friends come all the way from Prairie (45 mins away)! We had a craft, lots of yummy snacks, balloons, and Valentines! And of coarse lots of talking time for the adults. Here's some of the kids and parents eating.
Sorry for those of you I caught with food in your mouth!

I certainly had a blast and so did the kids. Thanks everyone for coming!
Ryan was happy cause I got to have a party and he didn't have to come!

For actual Valentines Day Ryan and I got to go on a date! I got the sitter and he planed the date. He took me to see Valentines Day, which I loved, and then out to dinner. It was WONDERFUL to actually spend time with my hubby!

Grandma sent a box full of goodies for us for Valentines day.

Just before Valentines Day I got the kids dressed up and took some pictures. They turned out cuter in my head. It's hard to get a 4 yr old, 2 yr old, and 1 yr old to sit still and look in the same direction!

(log was supper happy about this!)

Girls give Logan a kiss!

Not really any good pictures! But lots of fun. So I thought I'd try them sitting. This went a LITTLE better!

And the best one

Sorry, I think my kiddos are adorable, so you get to see all the pics!

Having fun

Admist all the craziness we still have had a lot of fun. The kids LOVED having all the disaster recovery boys in our house, and the "toys" they left behind!

There really is so much to learn from our children. I HATED these big, noisy, ugly machines, but the kids found lots of ways to play with them.
ex; Ring around the dehumidifier:

& play with things that are usually on the wall out of our reach:

Here's a random good morning from Kaitlyn. Gotta love morning hair!

The kids, especially Logan LOVED helping daddy with the demo!

The culprit:

A hole from the floor of the upstairs bathroom, you can see the downstairs floor from there. That hole was covered up only to have a new one. Eventually our house will have no holes!

And because we don't have enough projects, Ryan decided it was time to tear up the old carpet in our room. I was nervous about this, but it was a fast project. There was BEAUTIFUL hardwood floors underneath! With only a few staples. Here's Ryan hard at work.
