Vesperman's #2

Here are the kids on the big rocking chair. Kaitlyn wasn't a huge fan...

Pictures of the kids on there. These didn't turn out very well.

Climbing on the HUGE tire!

Playing on the tire playground (fun!)

Sitting on the fence. Can you tell I was hoping to get SOME cute shots of the kids? I tried...

They had a duck race there too. This was the first year we had seen the tire playground, duck race, and pumpkin bowling. They were so fun!

Logan

For some reason the video of Logan pumpkin bowling didn't post, so here it is.

Vesperman Farm

We usually go to Vesperman's on the first Saturday of October, but this year they didn't have the event we normally attend. It turned out to be a good thing, because we still went, just on a less busy weekend!

So Saturday we went and the kids had a blast! I'm so glad we went. There are a TON of pictures and videos so I'll probably break it up a little.

When we first got there we went to see the HUGE pumpkin!

Then Pumpkin bowling!

And Ryan's favorite part, the farm animals!

TRYING to get a family (kinda) shot, too bad the sun isn't cooperating!

We went on a hay ride and did a corn maze as well! But I didn't get pictures of those. There's more, but I'll put it in the next post! Needless to say we had a BLAST!

Parade!

The first Saturday in October is always a CRAZY busy, wonderful day. Luckily this year it was only a little crazy as opposed to our regular SUPER crazy. :) We are blessed to hear from our prophet and apostles! I love conference. There is always something that touches my heart. This year was even more so. There were some talks that brought tears to my eyes and were just for me.

We also have the Harvest Day Parade! Kaitlyn and Emily both got to be in it this year. They were in the Winskill Float. And they LOVED it! We were waiting on the wrong side of the street, so I had to run across the road to get a picture!

Here is Logan with our friend Adelyn. (We LOVE The Bowers!)

Ryan (supper excited!) waiting for the parade to start

September!

There was a school pride day at the elementary school, so the girls and I had fun pulling some things together to make blue and yellow outfits. I had ordered a school shirt last year for Kaitlyn, in the smallest size, and it's still too big by a lot for her this year. Emily's shirt is actually one of Logan's, but it was still big on her! So they got to wear ribbons. They were pretty proud of themselves! :)

A fun hair do we did for the girls one day for school. This is Kaitlyn's hair, but Em's had the same thing too.

The kids all sat down together and asked to get their picture taken. Can't say no to that! I love how Logan moves over cause Evan was trying to steal his sucker!

Emmy holding a sleeping Evan :)

Emmy and Logan sleeping on the couch :)

Evan thinks he's pretty cool! He LOVES to get up here. Must be why I rarely do the dishes when he's awake!

This year the kids are LOVING all the leaves on the ground. They love to rake them and can spend all afternoon playing outside with the leaves and riding bikes. They LOVE to ride bikes! Anyway one day Ryan got out his leaf blower and the kids had fun standing in front of it. I only got one of Logan though.

Kaitlyn and Emily just started taking dance classes! They are loving it! I love that they enjoy something I love so much. And I got to start taking Zumba again. I missed most of the summer because it was too busy to go :( I'm so glad to be back now!!

First day of School!

September 1st, the first day of school! Kaitlyn is in Kindergarten this year! Here's her first day of school pictures

I got to go to Kindergarten orientation with her. So I left the other 3 with a neighbor and went to school with Kaitlyn! They started out in the presentation room and all the teachers introduced themselves along with the new principal, new nurse, and new school councilor. All of them talked for a little bit about things we needed to know. After that all the Kindergartners lined up to go outside and play. I have to say, I got teary eyed when my baby left me to go to her first day of school! I probably would have full on cried, but they got us up and we moved to our child's teachers room. More instruction. Then when it was time to go I saw Kaitlyn lined up outside her room, so I got to stop and give her a big hug before I left. She is SO excited and LOVES kindergarten. I'm glad that she loves school so much!

Emily had her first day of school too! 4K! She didn't leave until after lunch, and the bus came to get her. I can't believe how big she looks climbing onto the bus!

And she wasn't at all excited. Haha, she'd only been waiting a whole YEAR to get to ride the bus and go to school!
