Sledding!

We had some BEAUTIFUL weather today, so I decided while it was warmer out to take the kiddos sledding! We had SO MUCH FUN! We haven't gone in a few years, so this was Logan and Evan's first time. They LOVED it!


You can't see it, but Logan's face is hilarious!!! And he ended up laying down, which made him FLY down the hill. It was awesome.


We only had two sleds so Logan started just going down on his bum. haha.



There was another kid there with his Grandma, and he happend to be in Emmy's 4K class! So fun. This is him going down with my girls.


They have smelly markers in Kindergarten, that is why Kaitlyn's nose is black...

I think they were about to leave when we got there, but ended up staying to play with us. Here's all my babies going down together. Evan is in between Ryan and Logan, he's just looking the other way so you can't see him.

And no, I didn't go down! I'm way to pregnant and I'm not a huge fan of sledding anyways. I didn't mind staying at the top of the hill and cheering everyone on. :)

I got a new curling iron with some of my Christmas money and have been having fun curling the girls and my hair. Here's my hair the day AFTER I curled it! If you know me, my hair NEVER stays curled, so I'm pretty excited that my new curling iron works so well!



Emmy just LOVES Evan so much! He tolerates her abundance of attention...sometimes. :)

Evan's First Buzz cut!

So Evan has had his first hair cut, and now he's had his first buzz cut! Ryan has been begging me to let him do it for a while, but I just couldn't! He's still a baby. Well Ryan finally won. He still looks adorable, but his new hair cut makes him look SO MUCH OLDER!!! :(

Neighbors

We truly are blessed to live in a WONDERFUL neighborhood! I LOVE our neighbors. And the longer we live here the more and more kids there are on the block. Not that we have anything to do with that :)
Anyway we went over to Tiffany's house for dinner last night. She has two boys. One Logan's age and one that's a baby. Although he keeps getting bigger! Anyway our kids get along great. We were hanging out talking and I look over and these two are cuddling on the couch!





They got a little shy when we all noticed and I took pictures, but I just had too. They are so sweet! Now in a few years I would have to react differently! But for now they are just good buddies. I love it! And since I took Emmy's picture, Kaitlyn needed her picture taken too. :)

Adrienne!!

So our trip to Texas is over :( We're back home. (And our house is in one piece! I still sigh a big sigh of relief every time we come home and things are as we left them!)

This was our best car trip home! Why? Because we got to meet Adrienne and her family in Kansas City!! Adrienne is a dear friend from high school that I haven't seen in YEARS!! I was so excited when she said she would meet us! So we left Texas and drove all day and meet up with Adrienne at our normal stopping place. So nice! She has two boys and they got along great with my kids! Here they are when we first meet up. It took a little bit, but not long for them to be friends.

The older kids were spinning the babies. Our two youngest are about 6 months apart.




That's all the pictures I took, I was too busy catching up! We let the kids get aquainted and then headed out to dinner. When we finished we got the kiddos in their swim gear and went swimming! So fun! After that it was the kiddos bedtime. So we put the kids to bed and Adrienne and I headed downstairs and hung out in the lobby tell almost 1:30am! And then the only reason we came upstairs is cause I didn't see Ryan text me and then he called, so I knew he was freaking out and thinking something happend. Cause I NEVER stay out that late. Haha. So we get up stairs and he was about to leave the kids and come look for me, he was so worried! Turns out he was watching a show called 1,000 ways to die with all these crazy ways people had died. Not the best night for me to choose to stay out way late! Haha.

So in the morning we got up and had breakfast with Adrienne and the boys before we headed off to Wisconsin. It was so wonderful and I just LOVED getting to spend so much time with Adrienne!
