In January we bought ourselves a bed! We upgraded to a King size, but still had our Queen mattress. It looked pretty funny!
We waited a little while to make sure we had the funds before we bought our mattress and box spring. We have them now, but it was pretty funny sleeping on such a little mattress in such a big bed!



(I have issues with paying full price for pretty much ANYTHING (besides food). We got a SWEAT deal on this bed, we didn't just splurge. Like 50% off, great deal, and we had been looking for a while. So don't worry, it was in our budget. Thank you Tax return!)
So we got the bed because we wanted something more comfortable, and because there are always so many kids in there by the morning. Well, I still get squished. Lol. It doesn't matter how far over I push Logan, he ALWAYS rolls right over practically on top of me! He is SUCH a momma's boy, and I love it.

When Logan was born a sweet family in our branch gave us their matching toddler beds. The girls love their matching beds and for a little while had their beds pushed together like this:




A few days ago they found out (during nap time when they were SUPPOSED to be sleeping) that they can move their beds! So they have rearranged the beds a couple times. Lol. Too funny.

January

The kids and I go to Library time once a week, and they LOVE it! After a couple stories and songs they always have parachute time, which is every kids favorite. One week I happened to have my camera and took a couple pictures. The girls LOVE to go to the library to read books and check out DVD's.




In January Logan started eating baby food!! He LOVES to eat, but with those cheeks I'm sure you already guessed that!





Ryan turned 31 in January! Happy birthday babe! For Ryan's birthday he and his friend got to go SNOWBOARDING!!! It was supposed to be a surprise for both of them, but Ryan guessed. The night before we watched the kids while Coreina and Robert went out on a date. Since Ryan had figured out his present he got all his gear out and had a blast making sure it was ready. So of coarse the girls had to get in on the action! They look sooo cute!

The girls got into my $1 section (Target) laundry baskets (seriously one of the best buys EVER!) and had a gunny sack race. They thought of this all on their own and had a blast doing it. It was so cute and funny!

Ryan had a BLAST the next day. He and Robert were gone most of the day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. While they were gone Coreina and I hung out with all the kids. We went to the theatre and saw Horton Hears a Who. It was a cute movie, but unfortunately didn't hold my girls attentions. They have very short attention spans, and there were NO princesses. Shocking, a WHOLE movie and not ONE princess! Afterwards we went to McDonalds and hung out for a little bit.

This next sad picture was either from that day or another McDonald's trip, I don't remember. All I know is there were a few people in McD's that were ready to give me the Mother of the Year Award (HEAVY sarcasm there!).
It was FREEZING outside and I was toting this cute baby around.



Yes that would be one naked boy. Now that I think more about it I'm fairly sure this was the same day as the movie. Anyway. I'm sure I looked like one NEGLECTFUL mother on that COLD COLD January day! But I promise there was a reason. So, sweet handsome little Logan was sleeping away in his car seat and when he woke up I picked him up. He had EXPLODED all over himself, his clothes (all of them!), and his car seat. This was one major mess. That I got to clean up in a McDonalds bathroom. Gross. So I just let him hang out in his diaper for a little while. Then I remembered our coats and put Em's coat on him. She wasn't too happy about that, but oh well.

Cousins!

One of my favorite pictures of me growing up is a picture of Me, Julia (my sis), and my cousins Lalani, Kayla, and Kara. We are all in our feety pajamas standing next to each other. It's a really cute picture and I love it. Well, when we were in Texas we got a similar picture of the Wilson cousins! lol. it was REALLY hard to get them all looking at the camera!

Probably the best of the bunch, the first picture taken, go figure!

One of the evenings we had some old family friends come over (the English's). Their oldest was home and we, at least I, hadn't seen him in a long time. Their oldest boy Will was really cute and he and Em were so cute playing together.




EVERYONE had a blast holding Logan while we were home. Here are a few pictures of him sleeping on people, which of coarse is his favorite way to sleep.






My mom got a snuggi (sp?) for Christmas, which was HILARIOUS. (Essentially it's a blanket with sleeves) Ryan and I saw a infomercial for it before Christmas and couldn't stop laughing about it. But it actually was the perfect present for my mom. Anyway I snapped a pic of Jace trying it out. Seriously funny.



One of the days we hung out with Mindy at her new house. The girls were DYING to play outside, but it was really wet. I finally gave in and let them play outside, but Em came in SOAKING wet. So she got to borrow some clothes from a cousin. Her clothes were dry just before we left so I took thins picture when we were telling Em her clothes were dry.




Too funny. we all had a blast hanging out with Mind.
