Fun with Uncle Jace!

Did I mention we had fun with Jace here? Haha. Well we did! Jace LOVED playing with my kids, and they loved him for it. He is so inventive and they had tons of fun.

Jace took the kids on lots of bike rides!!!

Logan lookin supper cute walikn'! This was when he was still a new walker, back in August.

Logan pushing Kaitlyn!!

Jace staked the swings in our backyard! The girls loved this! He also made loops for Kaitlyn to stick her feet though. Very creative and fun.

And a random cute pic of Logan crashing on the floor

Fun around the house

My kids FAVORITE thing to say is Daddy's so silly! They love it when we call them silly and especially if we're silly with them. So here's some silliness around our house.

This is a little space under our front stairs. We had so much fun squeezing in there and laughing and giggling! I CAN'T believe we all fit in there, it's a tiny space!

I was touching up the paint on a dresser we got given, the girls thought it was SOO fun to play in there. Too cute! I love little kids imaginations!

Jace's call

So much has gone on since I last posted, it's ridiculous!

This summer we has Jace living with us! It was so much fun. We loved having him here and miss him terribly! Especially the kids, mom and dad just don't have as much energy as 19 yr old Uncle Jace! While he was here he received his mission call. It was really fun to be here and experience that. I wasn't home when Andrew got his, so this was the first time for me. We thought the package may come that day (it was a Thursday? I think) but the mail ALWAYS comes after Ryan's lunch break. So Ryan went to check it anyways, and the mail had come early and Jace's call was there! So fun. So Ryan and I got to be there while Jace called mom and dad and then opened it. I took tuns of pictures for Mom since she couldn't be here.

Los Vegas Nevada Mission! Jace leaves the middle of Nov. We are so proud of him and happy for him. He will be a wonderful missionary, and is a great example to his siblings, nieces, and nephews!

I cried! - Aug. 7, 2009 apx. 4:45 pm

I was in the kitchen making dinner, when Jace walked out the door to our patio. He quickly comes back inside and says Christi, I think you should see this. I'm like, great, what'd they get into now? -I was NOT prepared to see this!

Kaitlyn says, look mom, I cut my hair pretty like yours! She was so proud of herself. All I could do for the longest time was sit there and stare. I was verry upset! I had to leave and call my mom (couldn't get a hold of Ryan!) before I broke down. Pretty much bawled the whole time I talked to mom. She made me feel better, thank goodness. Ryan was out riding his bike, so he couldn't hear me call. I called 14 times! And only left one message- that he'd better get his butt home soon! Poor guy, he thought the girls had driven the car through the house or something. So he FINALLY gets home and he's like, that's it? Not the right thing to say at the moment! Haha, poor guy. YES I realize it's just hair and it'll grow back, but all I could see was my sweet baby getting made fun of at school. There had already been a few things with one girl in particular, and I didn't want it to be worse for her. -Plus, I LOVED her hair! And she chopped it off! When Ryan got home I ran the girls to the hairdresser and they got new hair cuts (Kaitlyn also cut a chunk off of Em's hair). It looks cute, but I think it makes Kaitlyn look too old. She's only 3! I can't wait tell it grows out. I still get sad when I see a picture of her with her hair before!

And they were being so cute for the pictures we decided to get all 3! Aren't they adorable! And Logan walking!
