And now for something cool and slightly embarrassing.

Just after Evan was born I got a phone call asking if I would be willing to have my new baby and I have our pictures taken for some hospital reps. I said sure, but didn't really think much about it. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was surprised when I got there! Someone did my hair and makeup and there were professional lights and everything. So they took a bunch of pictures with me and Evan and with my doctor. And I went home. I still didn't really expect much from it, but shortly later I got an e-mail with an attachment to see if I wouldn't mind being in their newspaper ad. I said ok. They also put us as January on their 2011 calender. I still really didn't think anyone would see it. Haha. Apparently a lot of people go to the doctor and read the newspaper. Haha. January was pretty embarrassing. So many people came up and said "Hey I was at the doctor the other day and you were January on the calender!" Here is where I wish I would have said sure, but how bout we just take a picture of the cute baby! Like I said it is pretty cool, but also a little embarrassing! So I can't get the add to load as a picture on here, it's the wrong format, but here's the link to their website where I have my own little section. Haha, so CRAZY!!

Ryan's pictures

So Ryan got a new gadget that takes pictures among other things. This is great because we all know I'm not the best at remembering to take pictures :)
So I only got 1 picture, ONE, while we were in Texas. Luckily Ryan did much better so we have some Texas pictures. But before we get to those, here are the before Christmas/Texas pictures Ryan took.

One day I was scrambling for something (ANYTHING!) to make for dinner. This happens more than I care to admit. Usually this ends in breakfast for dinner. The kids and Ryan love it and I always have the ingredients on hand. Well, we may or may not have had Brinner a few to many times so I wanted to do something a little different. So we had Blue Peach pancakes. The kids love it when I add food coloring to their meals. Adds a little excitement. :)

So here we are eating our blue peach pancakes

Yo homey what's up? (yes I am aware no one actually talks like that)

Ryan and I

I like that you can see the picture of the kids above our heads :)

We made a few Christmas plates to pass around to neighbors and friends. If you didn't get one it's cause you didn't answer your door (that happened a lot, no one was home!) or you live to far away.
The kids had a lot of fun helping

And 3 more random pictures for your enjoyment

December 4K

Here are some of the happenings in Kaitlyn's 4K class from December.

Third graders came and read to her class.

Holiday Party.
~Kaitlyn got sent home from school early. She was 'sick'. Yeah NOT! I was so frustrated. I think she just got too worked up about the party and her teachers didn't want to risk it. Lets just say that girl was NOT sick. She came home and played all afternoon and not once rested. Little stink. I love her. And we had a talk about only asking to come home when were ACTUALLY sick.

Ryan and Evan

So Evan was laughing and giggling away. Ofcoarse not as much once I pulled out the camera. It's still cute though. I love that he holds onto Ryan's tie.

Santa

So this year the kids got to see Santa TWICE!!! Usually we don't make it out to see the bug guy in red, so that was a pretty big deal for them. The first time was our Branch Christmas Party. I didn't bring my camera (who's surprised there) so I only have one picture I copied off of someone else's blog :)
I teach the music for the children in our congregation. I LOVE these guys. I'm so proud of them and how well they do. We learned two songs to sing during the Christmas program. This is a picture of them singing. My favorite was the little nursery kids who I hadn't taught came up to sing anyway. Too cute.

And yes that's Jr and Sr primary. We're a small branch!

And this was taken during the same time. The kids love to all pile on my lap. I enjoy it, most of the time. :)

Ryan sleeping with Evan. I just love to see him with our babies!

Santa came to the court house! Which is were Ryan works and is very close to our house, so we went to see him. The kids were very excited. They knew Santa ment candy and presents! Haha. Here's Evan dressed up in the outfit Kaitlyn and Emmy were trying on in the last post.

Santa and the 3 oldest.

Evan and Santa, too cute!

Two of the cutest boys ever!

Since I always put pictures of Ryan sleeping with the babies, Ryan took a picture of me.

AND just before we left for Texas, Ryan comes in from shoveling the driveway wringing his hands and saying now baby don't get mad, k? BOY was I worried! Well there was a kitten outside that was just starving and Ryan had seen it the day before and just COULD NOT let it go. So he begged me to let him feed it. So I said yes. I mean, I'm not gonna say no, not after all that. I did draw the line at letting it come in the house. Which I had to say more than one time. Ryan REALLY wanted to keep it but I said no. And HE'S the one that's allergic to them. Crazy. So anyway we told the kids and let them watch the kitty through the window.

I know that sounds kinda mean, but who knows where that cat has been and what kinda germs it's caring and if it would scratch my babies. The kids had fun watching 'their' cat through the window. The kitty stayed for awhile. We left for Texas the next day. I'm sure the cat was just fine with out us.

This video I was trying to take a picture and pushed the wrong button... Aren't these two so cute!
