Nauvoo

This past weekend Ryan went with the youth in our branch to Nauvoo.  What was great was one of the families had all teenage children except one, so she stayed with me!  It was SO nice to have the extra help, especially since Ryan was gone over night. And Tara LOVES my kids and was so excited to come and stay here.

So right when the youth got here, I was leaving to take the kids to a neighbors birthday party at the park.  I was so happy to have Tara there to help keep track of the kiddos.  Especially when Emmy puked!  I think she just got to hot.  But of coarse we had to leave right away.  Luckily the kids were really good about it.  I felt so bad though!

Here's the cutest picture of Tara holding Evan.  He just loves her.  She sits with me often during church to help out with the kids.

And Ryan found some possible family names on a monument while he was there in Nauvoo. (Fox and Dalton)

It was fun to have Tara here for a sleepover, but I was so glad to have my husband back when he came home!  Tara seemed to have a great time, and she was a huge help.  The kids are hoping she can sleep over more often.  Haha

Father's Day!

I am so blessed to be married to this handsome man!  I love you babe!

This morning Ryan got up before me and took these pictures and video's.  On Mother's Day he let me sleep in and on Father's day he got up to spend the morning with them!

But don't worry, I had something up my sleeve for him!  I saw this on pinterst and knew I'd have to try it for Ryan.

Bacon flowers!  Haha.  He was pretty impressed!  

They were good, but we both liked bacon cooked the regular way better.  These were more greasy than how we normally eat them. The kids thought they were pretty cool looking too!  But no one was able to eat more than one.  It was fun and I'm glad I did it, but I really doubt it'll be a tradition. 

Ryan also got a DVD from me that we had fun watching last night, cause I couldn't wait to give it to him :)

Slip-n-slide!

Since Ryan got me a tree for Mother's Day and half the fun of it was the great family time putting it in, I wanted to get something that we could do outside together for him.  Well, I got a slip-n-slide!  It was a HUGE hit!  Haha, not surprised by that though!

Evan fell asleep waiting for me to get out of the shower. Which was less than 10 mins long!  Funny boy!

We went to Emily's soccer game tonight.  They passed out the uniforms and the socks are crazy long!  Well it got a little chilly, so I put them on Brayden.  :)
