Ryan brought the kids back up to the hospital to see Baby Jayden and Jayden gave them their presents.
Aunt Julia brought the boys up to meet him too! All the cousins had a good time meeting the baby and playing with each other. A little too good of a time. Apparently there is an emergency button on one of the walls that the adults didn't notice. A pretty big blue button all by its self. So one of the kids pushed it and nurses came running in. My nurse was in there with us checking me when it happened. She was so nice about it. She said she's had that happen to her in the nursery before. Gave the nurses a good scare and a work out though. I felt bad, but they were all very nice about it. Once we knew there was a button there, we didn't let the kids near it!
Aunt Julia and Jayden
Uncle Andrew and Aunt Cloe came to see Baby Jayden too!
My sweet angel baby. Feeling so blessed today.
Mindy and Alyssa came up to visit and brought Mom D up. Mom had back surgery two days before Jayden was born. I'm so glad Mindy was able to bring her up to visit us! Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures! Since we JUST got moved into a new ward the Relief Society presidency came up to visit AND so did the Bishop and his wife! So nice. That really helped me feel better about the new ward and the timing of the boundary change!

FB post:
Most of you don't know this, but Ryan was laid off at the end of April. It was very unexpected and hard. Through it all we've been very blessed. The Lords hand has been very evident. He was with us comforting and guiding us the whole time. And now to the exciting news. Ryan started his new job this morning! Such a huge blessing!!
So Ryan started his new job today. Yay!!! I'm going to be real honest right now. This week was REALLY hard. One of, if not the hardest of my life. I had a baby Thursday evening. On Monday morning at 5:30am Ryan left for his new job. My mom was sick and couldn't come and help, my mother in law had just had back surgery so she couldn't come and help, my sister Julia was on trek with her husband, and my teenage sisters all had camps and couldn't come help either. I had lots of offers of help while I was pregnant, but I thought my family would be available to help. If Jayden had come when I thought he would (when all the others did) I would have had a lot of help. So it was me and all six kids at home alone all day. The kids were pretty good about it. They wanted to be out running around going and doing lots of things, but I wasn't healed enough for that. Kaitlyn was a HUGE huge help. All 3 of the oldest were. One of the mornings, after a night of no sleep, Jayden had just woken up and I was soooo tired. So, so tired. Kaitlyn came upstairs just after I finished feeding him and said can I hold him? She took him downstairs and I slept for two hours! Two hours! It was so nice. I needed it so badly. She is such a good and sweet girl. Logan, Emily, and Kaitlyn also learned how to do the laundry. I wasn't healed enough to do it yet, and we were running out of clean clothes. So they did it. I couldn't physically move it, but I stood in there and told them what to do. They were so excited and proud of themselves! Another reason this was a hard week is I started to get mastitis and Jayden was having a really hard time latching. It was so painful. I ended up having to pump and bottle feed. So I was stuck to a machine half the day and taking care of Jayden the other half of the day. The only saving grace is our new ward sent people over with dinner. We wouldn't have eaten without those meals. The hard part was my house was trashed. Trashed bad. All 6 kids were home all day long and I was barely functioning. So people I don't know at all were coming in my home, usually while I had to pump and this was the first time meeting me. There were some who had quite shocked looks on their faces. I just wanted to say, you have no idea. No idea. Your the first adult I've seen all day. And I can't do everything, or really much of anything right now. Oh well. What can you do! We needed the meals. But we made it. I learned I can do hard, hard things! It was so hard to have Ryan gone all day long, but he helped as much as he could when he got home in the evenings. Despite the fact that he just started a brand new completely different job. He'd get the house cleaned up, put the kids in bed, help me with the baby, fold the clothes, then go upstairs and study for his new job, and help out with Jayden in the middle of the night too. Then start again the next day. I'm truly blessed to have him!
Kaitlyn drew a picture she wanted to share, It says "If you feel alone your not. Jesus is always watching you! -Kaitlyn
True words Kaitlyn, true words!

First time out in public (if a doctors office counts as public) and I spring a leak. Awesome. The whole right side of my shirt is wet. #nursingproblems

Such sweet brothers! This baby sure is loved!
I was just showing the kids Jayden's umbilical cord fell off last night, and Logan whose been very concerned about it says "oh good. He looks like a real human now!" Haha I love the things he says! Yesterday I was pumping and Emmy asks what is that doing? And Logan says, "it's milking her. Right mom, its milking you." Haha.
Happy one week Jayden!!
