Kaitlyn had her good friend Jill over today and they took Brayden for a walk.  He LOVED it.

WEDDING WEEKEND!!!!!  So awesome! Since the reception is at the church near my house, my house is the home base. Love it! Mom and the girls picked up Aunt Sheri, Amber, and Stephanie my cousins from the airport and then they came here to hang out. LOVE having them here!  I wish we could see them more often.  Now that we aren't spending all our time/money to visit family in Texas hopefully we'll get to go to Utah in the summers now!

This is my happy place!!! Love having family here for the weekend! And the best is yet to come. So happy for Jace Wilson and Kalisha Raquel Walters. Tomorrow's the big day!!!!

The big day!! Jace is getting married!!!

Sweet Kaitlyn made these cute toast shapes for everyone this morning. I love her creativity and her loving heart. Sure am blessed to be her momma!

After that was a grueling 2 hours in the HOT sun taking pictures.  The kids were great, but by the end they were done. Can't wait to see how they turned out though!

Then we had a lunch in for family and close friends, followed by the GEORGEOUS reception which I didn't get ANY pictures of

Had to bring Jayden inside to nurse so I got some pictures of him in his wedding clothes. Lisa, Kalisha's mom made the bow-ties for all the boys. Soo cute!!

8/24/14

After church we all came over to mom's to hang out some more.  When there's family in town, you gotta go visit with them!  Somehow I hadn't gotten a picture of Great Grammy holding Jayden so I made sure to get it!

He loved all the family loving on him, and they loved spoiling him. So wonderful!

While we were there Dad got challenged for the ALS challenge. They had a blast making the video and the kids had fun playing in the "snow" afterwards.  Mom's seriously the coolest grandma, not many women would allow this in their house!

The video they made was so fun.  I can't upload it on here, but if you go to Dan Wilson's page 2014 August the video Jessica posted is the best.  Love it!  It was fun to see my dad with his buddies being creative.  Love it!

8/25/14

First day of school!!  Talk about a crazy busy weekend then to have school start the next day!  We made it out the door in time and even had a few seconds for pictures, yay!  I had been SOO nervous about how this would work out!  Ryan leaves for work at 5:30 in the morning and now that I have an infant it makes getting out the door more complicated.  Since Ryan's gone I have no back up, no in case things don't go as planned plan. It's all on me to get them all out the door and in the car, dressed with back packs and lunches, and to the school on time. I've been really blessed though, it went really well and has continued to go very well. I'm amazed at how well the kids have stepped up to the challenge. I'm so blessed to be their mother.

First day of 1st, 2nd, &3rd grades. Sure missed my babies today, they are growing up so fast!

After we took the kids to school, the boys and I headed back to Plano.  Aunt Sheri, Amber, and Stephanie's plane didn't leave tell the afternoon, so I wanted to see them one last time! 

On the way down there I had this conversation with Evan

Boy do I love this brother of mine and his new WIFE! This morning Evan told me Kalisha is at the temple. So I said "Jace and Kalisha are on their honeymoon"
"Oh! Can we go there!"
Trying not to laugh "um I don't think so bud"
"Please, please, please!"
"Sorry bud, we're not invited"
Made me laugh pretty hard 

We hung out in the house (love spending time with them!!) and just before it was time to go Dad took us all out to eat lunch.  We went to this yummy Chinese place Dad knows and he knows the owner too.  Well Evan decided to sit in a high chair, but he climbed in backwards.  Well it's not actully ment to be sat in that way and Evan's legs got stuck! The owner ended up getting a screwdriver to take apart the seat so Evan could get out. And all this happened while I was nursing Jayden. So embarrassing. Glad he got out ok though! The owner was so nice about it. Crazy kids!

Jace and Kalisha JUST got back from their honeymoon so both families are at my moms having a goodbye dinner because they're moving to Utah in the morning.  It was so fun to see everyone again!  I LOVE the Walters and am so sad we aren't in their ward anymore. And it was WONDERFUL to see Jace and Kalisha again before they left.  Here's Aunt Kalisha holding baby Jayden

Since we aren't getting out much this summer, the girls found these roller blades and have taught themselves how to roller blade! All through the downstairs. I love it. So glad to see them getting exersize and learning new skills.

Logan and Evan's birthday party!!!!  Logan turned 6 on the 8th and Evan turned 4 on the 3rd.  We had a combined swimming party at our community pool. So fun!  The boys were sooo excited and had a blast!

Brayden LOVES the song The Ittsy Bittsy Spider, so we sing it for opening song at FHE every week, and other times through out the week.  He's just so cute, we love it!

Anyone want to hold a fussy fussy baby??? He sleeps all night but cries all day. Poor kid.

(Jayden was crying like this ALL day for about a month. I finally figured out he's allergic or something to Oats. Once I stopped eating oatmeal for breakfast he got sooo much better! Crazy! I had no idea someone could be so affected by oats. Glad to have it figured out though!)

We're so excited for school to start! And a little nervous too.  I LOVE this Elementary school though. I feel like this school was one of the reasons we were lead to our neighborhood when we were house hunting.
