Sat October 2

The first Saturday in October always is a very FULL day. This year was no exception. We started out the day with Ryan and I going on a 5K date. Every year the hospital in town does a 5K and I have wanted to do it for awhile. This year I decided I was just going to have to make it work. So we did it. I hired a babysitter and bright and early in the am we went to the square. Ryan could have ran the race much faster but instead he stayed with me and we enjoyed running/walking and TALKING!! It was so fun to turn a goal into a date as well. I think we will make this a yearly tradition! I was so proud of myself too cause Evan was only 2 months old and not only did I get out of the house, but I also did a 5K! We came home, showered, changed, and ran out the door! Next up was the annual trip to Vesperman Farms with Family Connections!

Playing in the corn

Riding the tractor to go pick out our pumpkin

Checking out the animals

Looking at the pigs. They stunk!

All 4 of my babies

Then we left a little early from Vespermans to get ready to go to the Harvest day parade! Kaitlyn was in it this year! It was her first parade! I was so excited for her.

Here we are waiting for the parade

When Kaitlyn's float came by I ran up and took pictures and followed her to the end (she was almost there) and picked her up. Poor girl was crying. Apparently she thought Daddy was going on the float with her (he's the one who dropped her off) so I don't think she enjoyed it. She did get over it though when we returned to the family to watch the rest of the parade. Candy'll do that for her. :)

She is wearing a brown coat and is just above the yellow balloon at the end of the word stars. That was her elementary school float.

And between Vesperman's and the parade we ate lunch and watched conference and after the parade we raced home and watched another session of conference. What a crazy fun day!
