March around the house

At the beginning of March we were blessed enough to have Grandpa Dalton come and visit us! The kids love having Grandparents visit, and Ryan really enjoyed time with his Dad.

Apparently I enjoyed it so much I poisoned Grandpa. :( (He got food poisoning while here) Next time you come we won't poison you Grandpa, we promise!

So I have been eying a certain fancy new stroller since, well Thanksgiving when I discovered they made it. It's one I wish I had known about since I had Logan. It holds 3 children (on purpose!). I was pretty excited to find it. There was a drawing, so I entered. Didn't win. They had another and another. Never won. I wasn't expecting to, but the advertising worked. I was now NEEDING this stroller. But I just could not pay $350-$400 plus shipping for a stroller. I just couldn't. Then I found out that I would in fact be watching another 2 yr old 2-3 times a week. That means that on those days I would take an infant, 2 2yr olds, and a 3 (now 4!) yr old to pick up my 5 yr old. And by the way we have to park our cars on the street (no parking lot) and walk inside to collect Kaitlyn. My excuse of well this ancient IMPOSSIBLE to break double stroller is still working just fine, became a little weaker. Right about the time I was breaking down and deciding I had better just buy one, a friend found one on craigs list!!!! I can not explain how excited I was. So I called up and outbid the other contender, and voila I got my new stroller!!!

The only bad thing is Kaitlyn is too heavy for it and she REALLY REALLY wants to ride in it. I've tried, and I just can't turn it with her in there. And our side walks our tilted in a lot of places and it always tilts toward the street. With her in there it goes straight to the street every time. Poor girl, she got kicked out pretty early and was hoping to get to ride now. Oh well. It's still full, especially when we have the extra one with us. I absolutely LOVE it and use it at LEAST 4 times a week. With summer coming up that will be even more.
~For those of you with 3 or more the stroller is the Joovy BIG CABOOSE. I love it. The only down side is to fit it in the back of the van I have to take all the attachments off. They slide on and off really easily, it's just one more thing I have to do before I put it in. But really what do you expect, it holds 3 kids!!

Here's cute Evan Laughing. We just love our baby so much!

Ryan got his bike out again, now that the weather is warmer. Evan got to sit on it. I think he liked it. The other 3 all LOVE their Daddy's bike and want to go on rides with him all the time. Logan even loves to race Dad on his tricycle. It's adorable.

At the beginning of April (April 2nd) Kaitlyn tipped the bike over while Ryan had it out and it broke. The piece that broke has to be special ordered, so poor Ryan's with out his bike AGAIN. I really do feel bad for him!
