Around the house in October

We pulled out (and scrubbed! clean) the baby exerciser. Evan looks so cute in there. He feel asleep while I was cooking. He's so adorable!

Kaitlyn and Evan

Evan was having a real hard time nursing and staying full, so we tried giving him a little rice cereal. He actually really liked it! We only gave it to him the one night because he has done much better nursing, but you can't miss the first time pictures!

Ryan and Evan lookin adorable taken a nap together

The kids LOVE to play in our bed. I was washing the sheets and they had a ball playing in there.

Sat October 2

The first Saturday in October always is a very FULL day. This year was no exception. We started out the day with Ryan and I going on a 5K date. Every year the hospital in town does a 5K and I have wanted to do it for awhile. This year I decided I was just going to have to make it work. So we did it. I hired a babysitter and bright and early in the am we went to the square. Ryan could have ran the race much faster but instead he stayed with me and we enjoyed running/walking and TALKING!! It was so fun to turn a goal into a date as well. I think we will make this a yearly tradition! I was so proud of myself too cause Evan was only 2 months old and not only did I get out of the house, but I also did a 5K! We came home, showered, changed, and ran out the door! Next up was the annual trip to Vesperman Farms with Family Connections!

Looking at the pigs. They stunk!

Then we left a little early from Vespermans to get ready to go to the Harvest day parade! Kaitlyn was in it this year! It was her first parade! I was so excited for her.

Here we are waiting for the parade

When Kaitlyn's float came by I ran up and took pictures and followed her to the end (she was almost there) and picked her up. Poor girl was crying. Apparently she thought Daddy was going on the float with her (he's the one who dropped her off) so I don't think she enjoyed it. She did get over it though when we returned to the family to watch the rest of the parade. Candy'll do that for her. :)

She is wearing a brown coat and is just above the yellow balloon at the end of the word stars. That was her elementary school float.

And between Vesperman's and the parade we ate lunch and watched conference and after the parade we raced home and watched another session of conference. What a crazy fun day!

September 4K

Kaitlyn started 4K September 1st. She just loves it so much! And her teacher is AWESOME!! She loves Miss Brunton. Miss Brunton has a class website and regularly puts pictures of the kids up online! I LOVE that! So here are some pictures of Kaitlyn in the month of September at school.

The class had a day to learn about buses and the bus rules

The principle came and read a book to the class. (I'm friends with his wife and two kids. They named their little boy Cooper- Just like Julz has a Cooper!)

(red and white poka dot dress)

And they made bug hats

I LOVE that I can see pictures of Kaitlyn at school. I have a folder for each month. What a great thing that Kaitlyn's teacher does! I hope Emmy gets her next year!

September in the Dalton house

Kaitlyn LOVES baby Evan. This is a good thing...most of the time :)
If I put Evan down for a second she is there, picking him up and carrying him around the house. She LOVES to play with him. One of the things she likes to do is make beds for him in random places or waking him up to put pillows under him or blankets on top. All with tons of kisses. Em's really enjoys these games too. Poor kid, he never gets a moments break. But I think he likes it that way. So here's some pictures from September of Kaitlyn or Emily "helping"

I was at a store, by myself! and came across some clearance pj's, so i picked some up. However there were NO girl pj's in Emmy's size, so I got her matching pj's with Logan. She LOVES that they match!

and more pj pictures

The girls like to play in random places and then ask, mommy take my picture!

Daddy and his boys!

We had guests over and I made dinner in a pumpkin!
