Our Utah trip!

(Aug 14, 2012)
We had such a blast in Utah!  We didn't have nearly enough time to visit everyone I wanted, but we did get to see tons of family!  The last time we were in Utah was when Logan was about 9 months so almost 4 years ago.  Here's a ton of pictures other people took, cause I never take enough!

Katrina took some family pictures while we were all together.  Disclaimer, my kids are in their pj's...it was kinda a last minute thing, just before bed.

The three grandbabies!  these three are so cute together!!

There was a date night for all Grandma Fox's kids and grandkids.  It was so fun!  I laughed soo hard!  It was wonderful to get to know some of Ryan's cousins better!

The rest are of some of the times we were all hanging out together.  There was a water balloon fight on one of the days, so much fun!

Some how, I didn't take ANY pictures, but some of my family drove down to visit us on one of the days.  It was so wonderful to see everyone!  It had been a way long time and I met my cousins daughter that I hadn't seen yet. We went to a park and the kids played while I visited with my cousins and a few aunts and uncles that drove up to see us.  It was WONDERFUL and way to short!  I miss when we used to go up to Utah every summer when I was a kid.  Now we drive to Texas so our kids can see their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!

These were taken yesterday.  Logan and Brayden feel asleep on Ryan at Uncle David's house, where we stayed while we were in Utah.  I LOVED getting to know this family a little better!

We got up and packed the kids in the car starting at 2:50 this morning.  We flew from SLC to Dallas (with BARELY enough time to RUN from one gate to the next) to Chicago to Dubuque.

When we were in Dallas it was so hard, because we were in TEXAS, but we couldn't see anyone.  While we were running from one terminal to the next, Emmy says Mom, I see Grandpa!! And I just said, no you don't, lets go.  Well apparently Ryan's Dad was worried we'd miss our flight, so he drove up to the airport just in case.  And he saw us, so Emmy really did see him!  I wish I would have listened, we wouldn't have had time to talk, but we could have at least waved!  Haha, oh well!  When we got to Dubuque my friend Shelly came and picked us up.  I was so worried we wouldn't be able to get home, because our power steering went out just as we parked in the airport parking lot.  She was so nice and picked us up, drove us to a car store and Ryan ran in, got some oil and she drove us back to the airport, waited while Ryan worked on the car.  And then drove us home following Ryan just in case the van didn't work!  Seriously, such a life saver!  Luckily that seemed to do the trick, so we didn't have to take the van in.  We made it all the way home safe and sound.  And now I have to fill out tons of paper work to get the kids ready for school registration and picture day tomorrow!
